"Matt and Andy were engaging, entertaining, and direct. I always felt prepared to put skills into practice, and understood the how/why for the strategies we used for each injury/illness. Melissa provided a lot of supplemental tips and tricks, especially during the hands on skills exercises. High intensity with low pressure really helped to make this a memorable and encouraging training."

"This is always a great experience! I liked the emphasis on skills and knowledge. I worried a bit that first-time students might have been overwhelmed by all of the information in this fast-paced course, but it was good for those of us who had taken it multiple times. One thing that you did for us years ago was something like a "speed scenario assessment." In about 30 minutes teams of 3 had to assess, evaluate, and make a plan for 6-8 different scenarios. This kind of concentrated practice was super helpful. I know we were short on time this year, but I think that is very helpful. Thanks for great preparation, terrific understanding, and superior teaching!"

This is my third class with the awesome Matt May. This time, we were at a senior school so Matt styled the class on possible problems with students, allergies, falls, weather, all really good information. I cannot recommend Matt and 4 point highly enough. Every class I take I learn so much and my confidence and ability to deal with an emergency medical situation is renewed.

I really appreciate how well Matt knows the information that he is sharing with us, and that he seems so well informed that he can answer pretty much any question with authority. He is friendly and approachable, which makes it a less intimidating setting when learning all of this material. His crew was also super supportive and helpful as well, and their hands on approach was excellent!

I am a veteran of the WFA course and 4Points always finds a way to keep the material interesting for those that have taken the class before. The course has a nice blend of hands-on and classroom time always leaving room for questions and discussion. Matt and his staff are knowledgeable, professional and clearly invested in their clients learning as much as possible to help make outdoor adventures fun and as safe as possible.

It was a great re-cap of the content and skills that I've been slowly learning for almost two decades. I now feel more confident than ever before that I could handle most back-country emergency situations professionally and effectively. It was a great course, and I'm happier than ever that I take it every two years.
