Sycamore Canyon Day Hike

For the place that has it all, Sycamore Canyon offers the beach, an amazing overlook, a seasonal creek and an array of trails of various length and abilities.

Please bring 2 full bottles of water (there is water in the campground), sun protection, lunch or snacks and durable hiking shoes.

Trip length:  4-5 hours

Difficulty:  Easy to Moderate ability

Groups of 4-15, larger groups available upon request.


Directions:

To get to Sycamore Canyon State park:  

From North: take Hwy 1 South(Pacific Coast Hwy) past Point Mugu until you reach Sycamore Canyon campground on the mountain side.  Park in day use area ($12).

From South: take Hwy 1 North(Pacific Coast Hwy) past Neptune’s Net (County line) about 3.5 miles until you reach Sycamore Canyon campground on the mountain side. Park in day use area ($12).

Please note this trip is run all year, but weather may affect scheduling during winter and spring months. Groups may include from 4-15 participants.
