We are currently hiring for the following roles:

  • Commercial Trekking Guides

    This role Includes guiding backpacking trips in the National Parks. Duties include full responsibility for the group from start to finish for backpacking trips between 3 to 8 days, Preparing all meals while out on trail, trip prep, food shopping for all members of trip, water filtration, and all the management that comes along with managing these programs. You must have prior experience leading trips for paying clients to be considered for this role. This position requires, at a minimum, Wilderness First Responder certification, which we are able to provide in house for a highly discounted fee for staff.

  • Commercial Basecamp Guides

    This role includes guiding trips based out of a campground in which day trip adventures will be facilitated. Responsibilities include keeping the group safe from start to finish, assisting with gear, offering interpretation of natural areas, instructing on hiking best practices, trip preparation and food shopping for all guests on trips, and preparing all meals for the group while on trips. We truly value those who have experience creating delicious food in the campground setting, and individuals capable of facilitating awesome daytime adventures.

  • Youth Outdoor Guides

    This role includes guiding youth on various outdoor activities, from short day-trips to multi-day adventures. Prior experience working with kids is desired. We work with a variety of schools and camp groups who regularly take their participants outdoors whether it is for a few hours, or a 5 day backpacking trip in Yosemite. Age groups vary from elementary school through high school seniors. All applicants are required by the State of Califonia to complete a background check for this position.

  • Wilderness Medicine Instructors

    This role includes teaching Wilderness First Aid, Wilderness First Responder, First Aid, and CPR courses. If you are already certified as an instructor that is great, if not we can facilitate a process for obtaining instructor certification. A background in medicine [EMT, Medic, RN, etc] is required.

  • Ropes Course Facilitators and Lifeguards

    We facilitate groups on multiple ROPES courses as well as manage a camp pool during the summer. We are looking for people with certification, or who are interested in obtaining certification in order to assume these roles. 4Points will assist you to receive the required certifications.
