Overview:
Argentina is a wonderland of big mountains, beautiful ocean, and incredible wildlife. This expedition takes you toward the ‘bottom of the world’ as we explore from the vibrant urban center of Buenos Aires, down to Ushuaia and Tierra Del Fuego, last stop before Antarctica. We’ll backpack through the mountains of Patagonia, finding remote mountain lakes, stupendous views, and peaceful solitude. Be ready for penguins, unforgettable marine life, and memories to last a lifetime.

Getting to Argentina: Multiple carriers offer daily flights to Buenos Aires from a variety of US airports. Please be aware that 4Points will book your internal Argentina flights.

Accommodations: For these adventures our accommodations will be comfortable bed and breakfasts, hotels, and comfortable hostels in the more remote locations. These locations include cooked breakfast, with a packed lunch. Dinner will be on your own.
Passports: Must have a valid passport that expires a minimum of 6 months from the start of the trip. At this time US passport holders do not need a visa, but you may be required to show proof of a roundtrip airline ticket.

Client information: Clients need to be physically capable of hiking varied terrain. This trip itinerary is challenging and would be a great option for participants who can comfortably hike 7 + miles per day carrying personal safety gear up to approximately 15 lbs.

Day 1: Travel day to Buenos Aires
Day 2: Tour Old Palermo and downtown Buenos Aires. Dinner in town
Day 3: Fly BA to Bariloche and stay overnight in the Andes Mountains
Day 4: Hike Villa Agnostura
Day 5: Bahia Lopez day hike; views of Nahuel Huapi Lake
Day 6: Cerro Tronador 7 glaciers hiking and rappelling
Day 7: Fly Bariloche to El Calafete
Day 8: Los Glacieres National Park. Explore Perito Moreno Glacier
Day 9: Drive to El Chalten, Patagonia. Hike El Chalten
Day 10: Hike to Cerro Fitz Roy and Laguna Los Tres. Return to El Calafete
Day 11: Fly El Calafete to Ushuaia. Explore Tierra Del Fuego National Park
Day 12: Boat trip in the Beagle Channel. Wildlife viewing. Explore Seaside Path.
Day 13: Estancia Harberton and Isla Martillo. Penguin viewing
Day 14: Fly Ushuaia to Buenos Aires. Free day in Buenos Aires
Day 15: Depart
