Overview:
Scotland is one of the most beautiful, rugged, and challenging locations in the world. If you want a remote adventure with secret campsites, epic mountains, and secluded beaches, this is the trip for you! We’ll spend this trip with a mix of camping and hostel-style accommodations. Don’t worry, we leave time to explore some of the remote communities of North and West Scotland, and a day in Edinburgh with castle tours and a chance to experience the incredible history, culture and modern country that is Scotland.

Getting to Scotland: Multiple carriers offer daily flights to Edinburgh from a variety of US airports. Delta, American, United, British Airways, KLM and more provide flights, normally with a stopover prior to arrival in Edinburgh. For assistance with flight information please contact the 4Points office.
Accommodations: For these adventures our accommodations will be remote camping with occasional stays at comfortable outdoor centers. These locations include cooked breakfast, a packed lunch and cooked dinner each day. While camping your guide will be creating incredible backcountry meals.
Passports: Must have a valid passport that expires a minimum of 6 months from the start of the trip. At this time US passport holders do not need a visa, but you may be required to show proof of a roundtrip airline ticket.

Client information:
Clients need to be physically capable of hiking extremely steep terrain in a variety of potential weather conditions. Scotland can experience rain and high winds anytime and snow is possible in the mountains. This trip itinerary is extremely challenging and would be a great option for participants who can comfortably hike 10 + miles per day with large amounts of ascent and descent, while carrying personal safety gear with a daypack.
