Overview:
Join 4Points as we explore one of the most beautiful and haunting landscapes in the world. Scotland’s epic history is perfectly matched to the grandeur and challenge of its mountains, and we introduce you to it all. In the cultural center of Edinburgh, we move between ancient castles and markets, to modern shopping and European cuisine. Our journey through the Scottish countryside will include hikes to some of the most iconic and spectacular lochs and peaks in the highlands. Whether you love exploring cities and towns or the wilderness, this trip has it all!

Getting to Scotland: Multiple carriers offer daily flights to Edinburgh from a variety of US airports. Delta, American, United, British Airways, KLM and more provide flights, normally with a stopover prior to arrival in Edinburgh. For assistance with flight information please contact the 4Points office.
Accommodations: For these adventures our accommodations will be comfortable outdoor centers centrally situated for our itinerary. These locations include cooked breakfast, a packed lunch and cooked dinner each day.
Passports: Must have a valid passport that expires a minimum of 6 months from the start of the trip. At this time US passport holders do not need a visa, but you may be required to show proof of a roundtrip airline ticket.
Options: This trip can be enjoyed as a 7 day adventure, or there is a 10 day option that includes exploring the islands of Western Scotland

Client information:
Clients need to be physically capable of hiking steep terrain in a variety of potential weather conditions. Scotland can experience rain anytime and snow is possible in the mountains.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Edinburgh; transfer to Aviemore
Day 2: Cairngorm Mountains
Day 3: Inverness, Culloden, and Loch Ness
Day 4: Fort William and Glen Coe
Day 5: Loch Lomond and the Trossachs
Day 6: Edinburgh [Castles and history]
Day 7: Edinburgh and depart
