Join us for a rejuvenating journey to Channel Islands National Park, immersing yourself in yoga amidst the untamed beauty of its unique wildlife, vast vistas, and secluded beaches. While most visitors opt for a day trip to Santa Cruz, the true enchantment begins once the last boat departs. Choose between one or two leisurely island days, where you can partake in guided yoga classes set against unforgettable backdrops, accompanied by options like guided hikes, kayaking with a local outfitter (additional cost), beachside picnics, or simply unwinding in the company of endemic foxes and scrub jays at camp. Leave the hassle of boat trip arrangements and planning behind—simply arrive at Ventura Harbor, and we'll handle all the details. Our offerings are customizable to ensure you can tailor the experience to your preferences. In collaboration with Ventura County's finest yoga instructors, we've curated an exceptional journey, complemented by our 4Points guides managing everything from meals and camping to optional guided hikes, adding an adventurous touch for those seeking it.

Itinerary:

  • Meet with your guides and yoga instructors at the Ventura Harbor, where we will load your bags onto the boat. We will supply camping gear if you wish, or if you have gear you love, feel free to bring that along. We will board the Island Packers Boat and head towards the Islands. Dolphins and whales are common on the crossing, and the boat will position itself in order to get the best views of these animals as we pass. Once we arrive on Island you will have time to check out the scorpion bay beaches with lunch as your guides transport gear to campsites and set up the camp. There will be time for short hikes before your guides prepare you a gourmet dinner to kick off the trip.

  • Our First layover day has many options to choose from. We like to utilize the cool morning to hike to smugglers cove, which before the daily boat arrives will remind you of what the California coast was like 200 years ago, practically deserted. Here will surely provide a platform for an unforgettable yoga session where we can clear our minds and truly breath in the peaceful views of the Pacific Ocean stretching south. The day will include a hearty lunch before the options of a shorter afternoon hike and yoga on the bluffs or beverage before another delicious dinner.

  • Our second full day on the island would lend the opportunity for a guided kayak tour with the local outfitter along the rocky and pristine coast stretching from the Scorpion Cove. These tours typically adventure into the many coastal cave systems, and see an abundance of marine mammal and bird life along the way. Once again your guides will prepare you a delicious lunch and have an optional afternoon yoga session at one of the custom chosen outdoor locations to maximize a deep dive into your conscience before another delicious prepared meal.

  • We have one final morning to check off any of the hikes that were not yet enjoyed, yoga will be available at another scenic spot, or just lounge and take photos on the Cavern Point. After another delicious lunch we will pack up camp and your guides will transport the gear to the dock for our boat ride home. Once again, we will get opportunities to watch dolphins and whales as we head back to the mainland, where we will dock in Ventura Harbor, and have access to the many local restaurants that line the many slips for our local fishing fleet.
